Massage Therapist Jennifer Anderson
Jennifer Anderson graduated in 2006 from Northwest School of Massage, in Kirkland, Washington, where she was also an instructor for three years.
She went on to gain experience working along-side a number of chiropractors, as well as, run a busy practice of her own in Seattle and Phoenix.
Her main focus is treatment work (or medical massage), working with chronic pain, injury, limited range of motion, repetitive stress, over-stressed nervous system, and structural deviations. Treatments also have shown to help with mood and sleep. Though Jennifer mostly performs treatment work, she is also proficient in relaxation techniques, pre-natal massage, and craniosacral therapy.
She also performs sports massage, primarily focusing on runners, dancers, and tennis players.
Jennifer has been a dancer and has been through a terrible car accident of her own, both experiences giving her a perspective that set her massages above most others. Her work is very deep, but methodical, working along the fascial lines. This technique allows the nervous system, the patient, and the patient’s tissues, to accept the work without fighting. This is helpful in achieving optimal therapy.
She is back in school for occupational therapy.
